Iraq Imam Sadiq (AS) religious center displays Ammar Popular filmfest short films

Imam Sadiq (AS) religious center in the Iraqi city of Najaf has hosted the screening of Ammar Popular Film Festival movies.

Following the international screenings of Ammar Popular Film Festival, Najaf hosted two Iranian short films competed in the event.

‘Driver’ directed by Sajjad Ghafelebashi and Hossein Darabi’s ‘The Gas Regulator’ were the two films that was displayed at Imam Sadiq (AS) religious center.

Ammar International Popular Film Festival goes against promotion of “individualism and extreme enjoyment without caring about the society's troubles and other human suppression,” the event’s official website noted.

The seventh Ammar Popular Film Festival was held on December 2017.
